These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our product, the ReachOS operating system, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read these Terms carefully and in their entirety before purchasing, downloading, or using our Service, paying special attention to the sections regarding Third-Party Software, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
By purchasing, downloading, or using our Service, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions set forth herein. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Service.
1. Our Service
ReachOSS provides an automated deployment and integration service. Our core value lies in the pre-configuration, packaging, and bundling of complex open-source software and its dependencies into a ready-to-use application image ("ReachOS") to simplify the initial installation process for you.
We do not sell the third-party software itself. The fees you pay are for the value we provide in packaging, integration, pre-configuration, and deployment simplification.
2. Third-Party Open Source Software [IMPORTANT]
a) Independence and Licensing: ReachOS images may contain open-source software developed by third parties (e.g., Apache, MySQL, Python, Docker). This third-party software is governed by its own separate open-source licenses (e.g., GPL, MIT, Apache 2.0). These Terms do not limit or change any rights or obligations you have under those original open-source licenses.
b) No Affiliation: ReachOSS is not affiliated with, associated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the developers or projects of any third-party open-source software we package. We act solely as a user and integrator to provide you with a convenient deployment experience.
c) No Warranty or Support: We provide no warranty, express or implied, regarding the functionality, security, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose of any third-party software included in a ReachOS image. For any technical issues or vulnerabilities related to such software, you should refer to its official community or documentation.
d) Trademarks and Copyrights: All names, logos, and trademarks of third-party software are the property of their respective owners.
3. License Grant
Each purchased license key authorizes you to activate and use a specific ReachOS application image on a single device.
4. User Responsibilities and Assumption of Risk
You understand and agree that you are solely and entirely responsible for all of your activities that occur under your use of the Service and for any consequences thereof.
a) Data Backup Obligation: Before installing or using the Service, it is your sole responsibility to perform a complete and independent backup of all your important data.
b) System Evaluation and Production Use: You must conduct your own thorough testing and risk assessment before deploying the Service in any production environment or for critical business operations. You are solely responsible for determining if the Service and the third-party software it contains meet your requirements for stability, security, and performance.
c) Independent Operation and Security: Our Service does not include ongoing system administration or security monitoring. You are solely responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, security (including protection against viruses, hacking, etc.), and configuration management of your system.
5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
a) "As-Is" Basis: The Service (including the third-party software packaged within) is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind.
b) Waiver of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReachOSS shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from the use or inability to use the Service (or the third-party software it contains), including but not limited to data loss, system damage, security breaches, or business interruption.
6. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time by posting a new version on this page.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China.
